USB mouse

Because many people are choosing to use a USB mouse to accomplish the things they need done, these devices are growing in popularity. Not only can a USB mouse provide more freedom of movement to the user, but they also can be used as a clicker for slideshow presentations and laser pointers. A person using a USB mouse should:

• Look for optical technology – People who choose to use an optical USB mouse often find that these devices are a little more reliable. This USB mouse uses a beam of light to determine movement. These are often more effective than the devices that use a roller on the mouse because the mice with rollers can sometimes get stuck.

• Consider laser technology – A laser USB mouse uses the same kind of technology that an optical mouse uses, however the difference is that a laser USB mouse is even more precise with its movement and tracking. These are the most advanced mice that are on the market.

• Look into sensitivity – Most of the time a USB mouse can be re-programmed and adjusted to different sensitivities. This means that a certain mouse might scroll too fast, but if a person changes the sensitivities, it can scroll at a speed more to the liking of the user.

Because a USB mouse traditionally uses technologies that are a little more advanced, these devices often cost a bit more than a traditional mouse. However, they often are just as reliable and offer more freedom. For these reasons, a USB mouse is a popular choice for many.
