Optical mouse

An optical mouse is a nice alternative to the traditional mechanical mouse, however there still are problems that can occur. A person can fix the clicker on an optical mouse by following some of these steps:

• Flip it – A person hoping to repair an optical mouse must flip it over so that it is lying on its back. If there are any screws on the bottom, they should be removed.

• Turn it back over – After the screws on the bottom have been removed, a person should then flip the mouse back over and wriggle it until the shell comes loose. Once the shell comes loose, it should be completely removed and set to the side.

• Remove the springs and buttons – By removing any springs or buttons that are protruding, a person is able to get to the root of the problem and have a clear view concerning which items might be causing the problems with the clicker in the optical mouse.

•Find the indentations – As harmless as they look, the indentations inside of an optical mouse are the items that are making the mouse clicker difficult to use. These indentations are typically not very big and can be buffed away by using a metal file to get rid of them. The idea is to create a flat surface where the indentations on the optical mouse were.

• Put it back – Once the indentations have been removed, all a person needs to do is simply go back and undo the process they just did. Doing this should fix the clicker on the optical mouse and make it ready to be used without problems.
