Laptop mouse

If a person has a laptop and a desktop computer, it can be annoying to go from using a laptop mouse to using another mouse for the desktop when the two computers are being used almost simultaneously. However, a person can connect the laptop mouse to both computers by using a KVM switch.

Following these steps can help a person set up a laptop mouse for the desktop computer as well:

• Buy a KVM switch – A KVM (keyboard, video, monitor) switch can enable a person to share all of these components with different computers. The KVM switch needs to have enough ports to attach at least the laptop mouse as well as the laptop and desktop computers. It is best if the connector ports are USB devices.

• Connect – After the KVM switch has been purchased, the laptop mouse should then be connected to the sharing switch. Then, the base of the sharing switch should be connected to a small remote control which should always stay on the computer desk.

Switching between the two screens is easy. There is a button on the remote control that allows a person to easily go from one computer to the next. This means that all a person needs to do is press a button and he can move from one device to the next. This will greatly reduce the number of cords needed to hook up to the different computers. Thanks to this remote control, the laptop mouse can easily be used for more than one computer.
